About me
I am Bob Marley of Kingston Jamaica and I am a musician, Rastafarian, Pan-Africanist, footballer, husband, and father. I was born in St. Ann Parish, Jamaica on the sixth day of February in 1945 to my mother Cedella and my good for nothing white father Norval Marley. He was never there and he never cared, so i felt nothing when he passed at my age of ten. Growing up in Kingston was not easy, It was full of poverty and crime but it made me who I am and shaped my music. I got interested in music at a young age and once I met my friends Bunny and Peter, we began a band that became known as The Wailers. We grew as a band and became popular in Jamaica and years later, the world. I am not just a musician though, I am a leader in the fight for peace, love, and the union of all people. I believe that we all must come together to remove evil and bad from this earth. One love, one heart.

The World today
With many years lost, I now find time to reflect on past events that have unfolded during my time in hiding.
- Racism: This is a topic that is close to my heart. I see great change has happened and African people are being accepted through out society in America and many other white nations and it is only getting better. America even has an African American president now, oh how things have changed.
- Terrorism and the Middle East: It enrages me to see humans act with such violence toward one another. I cannot believe these animals, how can they even be considered human. They say that they are defending a god, but what god would put their people and other beings of this earth through such disgusting pain and turmoil. I have nothing more to say. They are not human.
- Cannabis: "Herb is the healing of a nation, alcohol is the destruction." The new angle taken on cannabis is wonderful. I see it becoming more accepted and along with acceptance comes understanding. With laws across the globe changing I see hope for peace in the future. The herb brings you closer to yourself and others, and hopefully the people of this earth will learn to love more than hate from the plant.
